Woo Hoo!! Who’d a thunk a plate of macaroni would do so well?
I don’t know why this idea popped into my head, and it really only took me about 20 minutes to lay out the pasta. What took a lot of patience was waiting for the week to end! And darn that update button – I didn’t seem to be able to stay away from it. Thanks to everyone for all the great comments and votes.

"WOW" factor in this one, is the strong color, good composition, and the square crop format.....

This is a great idea. I would have loved to see more blanced lighting. But this is really creative simple idea.

I like the simplicity of the color scheme. It makes me think of 1960's pop artists - Andy Warhol-like.

Great effort! I like the way the pasta makes patterns on the red plate. The blue background make this a very appealing photo. Lighting and focus is great!

great colours and details. I should have a knife on the left side of the photograph. with this choice you break the symmetry but add a subliminal message at the image. piastra di maccheroni.... perhaps you want write piatto di maccheroni :) 10

I have almost cracked the binary code. I can't quite figure out where to meet the mother ship. I give you infinity sideways: 8

Sorry, but this one isn't a "grabber", and I don't see the pattern in it. I really just see randomly placed macaroni.

Vwery much to my taste (pun intended) but if my own experience with such compositions is any guide, doomed to a not-so-stellar finish. Good luck with it!
