This came out exactly as visualized in the making. I think it's powerful and even allegorical, but I have no clue how the voters will respond. Certainly off the beaten path. "Pattern" seems evident to me, but it's perhaps subsumed in the larger allegory, so... |

| I know that you know what you're doing, so I won't try to second guess....but I gave it a low vote, so I should comment. It was obvious that it was a nightlight or air freshener or something, and the pattern was fine, but it was also scuzzy dirty, which I found to be more disgusting than interesting. Hence the vote. Sorry. |

What an interesting image - there's so much going on this picture that it begs to be pondered over. I like the choices in tone & contrast, but question the angle & composition slightly. The centering is slighted which makes me wish you had went either more off-center or symmetrical with this one - especially given the challenge.
