This is my lovely lady from Candid III. Her husband, who recently passed, was also a photographer. He was very good, and very amazed by my digital camera, but at 92, was not feeling up to learning new equipment. We miss him so.

Woo Hoo, a ribbon! Thank you all!!
I must devote this one to Frank, a consumate teacher and explorer to his last day, and his wife of 66yrs(!) Lore (the beautiful hands) whose strength and humor amaze and inspire me daily!

deeply moving shot, bea! I wonder how it would look in BW - it may have a more "timeless" quality... congratulations on your ribbon!

Stunning job meeting the theme. The translucence of the aged one's skin drives home the transience of our stay, along with the ravages of arthritis. I like how we're led in and out with the blue sleeves at both ends. Congrats on your ribbon!

Nice idea, interesting hands and lighting. Might be better with a little DOF and distance separation from the blanket for less distraction and more focus on the hands.
