 This is a Chayote Squash sprout. Taken at my mother's garden. Believe it or not, in CR this sprouts (quelites) are cooked stir fried, in soups or stews and they are very tasty.
Post Processing: Neat Image (Reduce noise and sharpen)
Levels (enhance darktones, enhance
midtones.)
Crop
Resize and submit.

yes i ate these before. we fried them with spice and chili.
anyway, back to the photo - I love the tones, focus and overal simplicity of this.

This is a really great image. I would have liked to see it moved to the right side more. Center doesn't hold it for me. The colours are great and the orginality of it is very nice.
