I think this is cool to mention: Entry #1 ;-)

When I saw the challenge I immediately knew what I wanted to do. Grabbed Mr. Fish and a fishbbowl, photographed it with a flash & umbrella. Moved the fishbowl a tiny bit to get some sort of movement in the water. No Mr. Fish was harmed by taking these photo's! ;-)

This entry is made out of 2 photos. The moving water was one photo, the other one was the one with Mr. Fish (basic-photo). Used curves to get the aqua-color.
Copied the water-line in the basic photo, and after that started to copy the bowl at the top, and closed it up. I used 3 parts of the side of the bowl.
After that, I made the image smaller, and copied the fish from the original file to make it bigger than in the original photo (does that make sense?). Selected the fish and made it a bit lighter.
Cloned out a couple of spots, but kept the reflection, because otherwise it would be very flat.

That's about it!

Here are the original files:

This was a fun challenge!

Lol! Love the expression on the fish :) DonĀ“t as much care for the cyan hue to this shot but nothing that is really bothering me, gave it a 7.

Some more definition in the fish would have made this even better.

The fish could be a little brighter just to bring out some more details. Otherwise, good shot.

Don't care for the tonality but the overall shot is very nicely done! Like the circle of shadow around the 'bubble'!

Be good if you could see a bit more detail in the fishes face, but i like the idea.

I like it - I wish the fish was lit a little better but the overall mood is outstanding and the cold color helps too.

I like this. The icy aqua tones and high contrast really work well. Those buggy eyes don't hurt either. 7

As a photo, everything looks good. I'm pretty sure you pasted that fishy in the 'bubble' so unless I'm wrong...nice job with the edit, which I think was half the challenge. (Not used by most entries)

ha ha that sucks for the fish! I don't like the lighting at all, maybe from above would be better.
