The light is a bit harsh on the one cheek, but the tones are spectacular. Also the shadow on his left cheek is a bit awkward. A little more post with a few tweaks and you would have a contending image. |

The sharpness of those eyes compared to the rest of the picture makes this look fake. The collar and background look like they have too much noise. |

I like it in one way, but on the other hand I'm trying to figure out what went wrong here. Can't put my finger on it, seems he has either a pigment skin condition ( I know I do and it looks about the same, or it's a bad 'replace colour' action. The beard and collar look funny to me. And I don't like the overlit spot on his cheeck. (is overlit the right word, I mean the bright light) |
