I used 4 pictures to do this.. all taken the same day.
1. Background with windmill and sunset

I really like the overall colour of this and particularly the gulls. I think this may have been more balanced with the wind thingy to the right more.

The lighting and the stop action make this image. Don't care about the wind mill - whether its here or not - but your work with the birds is excellent. Colors work well to make a soothing image. 9 - good luck in the challenge!

The image would have been great without the windmill but its so huge that you couldn't get away from it and get both the gulls and the sunset/rise. I would have preferred it wasn't in the center of the coposition. The light and focus on the gulls is fantastic. Good stop action shot. However, they are the subject. The sky is just a backdrop.

There is inconsistancy to me that the wind turbine would be blurred but the birds in flight are sharp.

Great composition - The thing that bothers me is that the birds are really sharp in focus and don't see to be moving, but the windmill appears to be rotating really fast. Therefore it really looks like two images rather than one. Getting the birds with the sky and not having the windmill in the background would have raised my scoring considerably

I really like this alot. Great composition. I like that there are tiny birds in the background to almost balance, in some sense, those in the foreground. 8

Wow, this is magnificant. The lighting is excellent on the gulls. I'm assuming the windmill and the goals are from different photos? Very nicely done! +8
