| Heh - I like Don's comment. It does have energy, but I don't think it's from the crop; I think it's from your subject, who radiates energy and light. I suspect this wasn't posed but a moment well caught. So young, and already so perfectly color coordinated. I like the single leaf on the sidewalk, too - gives a sense of time which is nice when taking pictures of children - they grow too quickly. |

| I think the only reason this didn't score higher was the crop, which is unfortunate because the crop adds so much energy to the picture. Can't you just feel the electricity created by the subject touching or almost touching the edge of the frame? Some people are made uncomfortable by energy. |

| This is a really nice shot and I'm surprised that it didn't do a little better. I think that if you used selective desaturation and made everything B&W except the umbrella, this would be really cool. Just my own stupid opinion. |
