Challenge: Perspective IV (Basic Editing)
Camera: Canon EOS-300D Rebel

Location: My basement
Date: Nov 19, 2006
Aperture: f22

Date Uploaded: Nov 20, 2006

Shot RAW in my basement. Guitar was lying on a table that was draped with a piece of black felt pinned to the wall. The lighting was a single 100 watt bare bulb and I held an umbrella over it to kill the shadows.

Adjusted a few things in RAW and converted to PS

It looks good on my calibrated monitor, but I've looked at it on a couple LCDs and you can see the background and a shadow. I hope most voters have calibrated CRTs!

Extreme perspective and depth of field and a great job on the lighting - top 5 for sure.

Gives the guitar a rather toothy grin, doesn't it?

Thats an unusual perspective for sure! Having it "upside down" was a nice touch. Wouldn't have been the same on its back downwards.
