 Taken in the Blue Mountains(Bláfjöll) in Iceland. I was absolutly freezing -11° C. But that's just the way it is. This is a rather small hill but seems larger than it is. The exposure time is very long.

Ok another personal best, gotta be happpy about that.

Well about the picture, 7 minutes exposure. lit the hill with a flashlight. Not much post processing. Bossted contrast and saturation. Crop, cloned out a little muck in the bottom right corner, brightness contrast again and usm.

Simply beautiful coloring, and a great shot with the star trails. I wish there were text here though to give it more of that postcard feel, and to share where this fantastic view can be seen.

Yikes! What a STUNNING photo! Forget the postcard -- I'd buy a print to frame and hang on my wall of this one!!! But it makes an awesome postcard too! :)

oh wow. Why can't I see this phenomenon in my area ! :( Im not sure the star trails and fuzzy sky works here. I would prefer still stars but im sure lens was open for quite a while to get your great colors from aurora. 7
