This is one of my favorite shots I have ever taken. I had been in a photo rut and feeling rather uninspired at what I was doing. This photo makes me want to take more photos, I love all the elements of comp, leading lines, natural surrondings and the human elements. I am very happy I could shoot something I am really proud of and have it do well.

I see what you mean. All the elements contribute to the composition as well as being interesting in themselves.

The rail leading to the girl, who leads to the man, who leads to the sky... very cool.

Loved this shot in challenge and actually thought that there was a chance that this was a Goodman image. An excellent image that is just so pleasing to allow your eye to wander around and take in all the separate elements that create a wonderful whole. This was one of my top picks.

Well, I wouldn't call it 'perfect' or give it a 10 (coz I feel light and tonalities can be improved upon), but, otherwise, posthumous has it perfectly right: this is a photographer's photo, a classic (something that just won't go stale), really, with a poise of a composition.

A remarkable shot, exemplary and fit for study.

Cut a tad off the top and I think it would be nearly perfect. A little too vertical for my taste. Above average rating.

Silhouette on horizon is effective. Good lighting.
