 sharpening,brightness/contrast. Taken on a rainy day, the image was captured impulsively. The angle of the hat adds dimension to the image and gives a frame for the subject's eyes which are the focal point of the image. I chose to edit the image to black and white as i felt this gave contrast between the foreground and background, the headwear and the subject's face.

I want to say to all of those that made a comment and voted thank you very much .But i still thought that my image will do much better ,i must say that i am a bit disapointed .But hey this is DPC.

Not quite sure what it is about this that I like so much. Maybe it's the combination of fresh freckled face beauty with the cutest hint of a smile, and the urban/aged feel to the colour conversion. Whatever it is, it's great.

The color doesn't appeal to me, but I like her pose, attitude and find this to be pretty good. Best of luck in the challenge.
