 This is a member of my crew... Jerrod.
The shot was taken during a break from reroofing a house.
The shot was taken in colour and converted to black and white using gradient mapping.

Terrific portrait, love the fine detail in the various textures - his hat, jacket and stubble. Definitely one of my top picks in this challenge.

Excellent tonalities and details. I'm not sure about the tight framing with his eyes right up against the edge, looking out. I think it sort of disconnects the viewer.

I like the post processing in this, very sharp but works well with a masculine face. Nice contrast and composition as well.
