Could have used something to reflect off the eye rather than just your softbox. :)

I've seen too many eyes in this challenge so far and it just isn't doing it for me.

The candle cannot be distinguished, it might have well been a fluorescent light.
The greatest problem though is the composition - you have cropped off the right hand side of the eye, leaving a huge expanse of out of focus nose on the left hand side. Why? I guess you were thinking of the rule of thirds, well in this case you could have broken that rule.
