I would say 90% of my photos are taken with out a tripod as I rarely have the time to set it up for alot of the shots Ive taken...

This one was shot freehand as well, I prob could have used a little more USM but at the time liked it the way it was.

This is one of my faves in your portfolio. I absolutely love the colors. Not sure if you used a tripod or not, but using just a touch higher fstop and a tripod would crispen up all the pine needles.
