 My first submission at DPC !

1/4 sec at f/8 , 30mm (35mm eq = 45mm)
crop, unsharp mask, remove noise.
Adjustments: levels, brightness, contrast, hue/saturation

DOF and saturation for a clear colorful Michigan logo would be better, especially for a Michigan fan. Some angle would help alleviate the blocky composition.

Good idea for the challenge. Composition feels a bit cramped; would crop out the tiny bit of whatever that is along the bottom edge.

Nice concept, but the execution didn't quite make it. Given the prominance of the lock and gate, I feel it should have been in crisp focus. Must have been an overcast day, too, for the image to have such flat contrast.

An OK image but there are others in this challenge with the same theme that have been executed slightly better. In this nothing seems to be in focus well: 6
