 Font size Firefox was made huge. A screen grab was made of the Challenge details. This was opened in PSP as an image. The dpchallenge logo was moved from the left of the image to above the word 'bokeh' so that it was in the final photo. I actually had to experiment with a few positions for it until I was happy. The photo was taken from above the monitor and was handheld. Being an LCD screen at an extreme acute angle, the colours all went to pot.

All processing was done in RawShooter. The white balance picker more or less brought the colours back. The shadow point was selected technically correctly. The highlight point was dropped agressively low to cut the nose off the histogram because it made the bokeh nicer. All the exposure and shadow sliders were left alone. Not even ALT-E. Cropped. Proof made at 640, high setting. Finished.

I realize that this is within the DPC rule set but these type shots just dont impress me. I get the irony and all but as an image it does very little.

Perhaps you should step away from the computer from time to time and aim your lens at some of the big, wide world out there. Sorry, I'm really not a fan of screen shots.

I am not sure this is in the rules, but it's a great image with the word bokeh, but no bokeh as most understand it...5

Sorry, but, this technical demonstration of bokeh doesn't make for a particularly interesting photo.
