This is a partial view of the old City Hall downtown Toronto and the arches over the water in front of it (in winter there is a skating ring in place of water). I shot this hand-held around 6:30 pm - hence the deep beatiful colours.

Wonderful color combinations as well as shape differences. I love the contrast of the organic curvature vs the solid angular look of the buildings. I also like how the water though a reflection has deeper tones. Very nice! 7

Awesome reflection, assuming of course that your city doesn't feature an upside-down building surrounded by a sea of blue! :) Very cool effect here.

Beatiful composition and colour. Too bad the arches are chopped off at the ends. The sky is bit overexposed, but the image holds well. One of my favs.

more than the reflections i like the colors. (needs perspective correction - beyond the rules of this challenge though)

Sky is a bit faint - I think levels and/curves would help you darken it without further darkening the water.

The arched form of the bridge turns a pretty but ordinary set of reflecions into a work of art. The lighting is also excellent - it adds brilliant color to the already interesting foreground buildings.

Which colour ribbon do you prefer?

What a classy shot. Rich subject matter, crisp lighting, beautiful colours - it's got the lot. Good luck in the top three! ;) [10]

Stunning light, colors and reflection. IT will really be something when that building in the far-ground is completed.

Nice image. One of the few to successfully take an image where the centered horizon line really works.

Very nice composition. The only negatives are the shadow being cast on the near building and the white spots on the water. Neither of which I imagine can be avoided though. Nicely done.
