Took a trip out to Weston Bend State Park after running to the airport to drop off Grandma. Not much color right then, but we decided to take this path that led away from the overlook. Tell you what, the overlook sucks compared to this little 1/2 mile of beauty.

Tons of editing. Converted from RAW with major color temp and contrast boosts, sharpened a bit. Cropped to 8x10. screen layer, added contrast back in with a levels layer. Hue/Sat layer adjustments on greens, yellows mostly. Resized, layer copy, USM, erase parts that became oversharpened, Dodge& Burn to draw the eyes in even more.

I love the outward slant of the trees, with his confident stride, the forest appears to be parting for him. Great colors, enjoy the vignetting, well done!

The angle in this picture is very interesting because it looks much higher than eye level. your colors are amazing and the slight blur in his foot is really neat wonderful shot!

Love the strong color and the perspective of this shot... the red hoodie really stands out... the child seems to have a very determined gait. Very cute!

this is fantastic. great colors, comp and EVERYTHING. I don't see the PP problems you mentioned and I tried to really look for them. I dont see anything. obviously at a large print size that may be a different story. but it looks great to me. :)

I like how he's striding with such purpose! Really adds character to the scene, which is nice to begin with.

Gorgeous photograph, an inspiring step that little one has! Love the small size of him in context of the rest of the world :) Beautiful capture. I would be interested in a print of this one.
