Mostly makes me think "snapshot", but i do like the sky.

This is nice but seems to be tilting down to the left. I would like to have seen a little more color saturation in the picture to give it more punch. The palms for example could be greener. The sky would add drama if it was a little more contrasted. Seems to meet the "old" challenge.

Whilst the hotel is possibly an older building, it doesn't say old to me. That's perhaps about my viewpoint but that's where I am coming from on my score.

do some tweaking on this picture in photoshop(or any editing software) to enhance light levels.

It's unfortunate that a 1978 Caprice wagon is in the drive. (Though it's getting to the point that that could be considered old.) Many angles on this subject could be used to illustrate age without interference. Good subject choice.

This place may *be* old for sure... it just doesn't look old in this photograph. As a viewer, I would have to know the history of this place to understand the age behind it. - jmsetzler

Rather artless. If you couldnt get square on for a formal shot, you could have gone for a detail shot, contrasting the palm trees against the detail of the towers.

the weather in the background gives the feeling of a haunted mansion.... i spent my honeymoon at the don cesar and it did indeed feel very haunted. this photo captures both the elegance and the mystery of this well known Florida spot.

A centered composition may have been more succesful

This is a lovely building. Wonder if you could get a little more color to come out in the building and trees in your photo processing program? Also, I think I would like to see the lines of the roof look straight instead of the driveway... Maybe?

The pix is tipped to the left and the colors are really dull.

Nice subject. Looks like it could use just a bit of sharpening.

This is a tricky one - I live in England and over here this building would not qualify as 'something old'. However, I must see past my own little world and recognise that this *is* something old. It's beautiful building which, I think, could have been taken from a more interesting angle. The weather definitely gave you problems with light and there's no flash big enough to compendate for that. The car in centre shot s a little distracting too. Perhaps you should have panned up and made a feature of the heavy cloud.

The shot was very nicely framed, and the pink building against that bluish shy is a wonderful balance. I don't live wherever this shot was taken and I have no knowledge of the bldg. So from my viewpiont, how would I know the age of a building? I would know it by evidence of specific aging details (cracks, window sheen, etc.) Even though the building may actually be old, it does not look it. In my opinion, "appearance of age" was a major part of this project.
Still, it is a very good picture.
