| What a cute little emergence! I love the way the poppy looks like it's made of paper. Nice viewpoint - just a touch soft on the focus - but a good shot. Could have been improved with a little sharpening I suspect. |

| Timing is everything. Well, also exposure, shallow depth of field, lighting and focus. Great shot. |

| What beautiful colors and the DOF is wonderful! The detail is fantastic and the top of the poppy gently resting, waiting for it to tip it off, very nice capture. The lighting works very well with this shot, any brighter and the orange would have been too bright. It meets the challenge and this will be the 9th 10 I've given in this challenge so far, well done. |

| I love the contrast in color/intensity here, and the way it feels like an action shot even though it's so still. Only thing I would have suggested was a fully-emerged poppy in the background for context -- couldn't tell what it was if I didn't have the title to go from. Very nice representation of "exposed" overall! |

| Nice shot. The Poppy looks like paper unfolding. A little more of the stem might help this shot. The right side of the composition seems a bit distracting. Otherwise great shot. |

| Beautiful subject softly lit only let down by the DOF not letting the whole object be in focus. Maybe a little extra sharpening to bring out the petal detail. |

| Good captured detail, a little more depth allowing the viewer to see the poppy behind slightly clearer may have been an improvement. |

Good points:DOF, and interesting view
Bad Points: Composition could e better, perghaps moving the flower more leftwards

| One doesn't need to know much to recognize a good photo. This one deserves a ribbon. As for me... the blue ribbon. I hope everybody will see the revealing beauty and vote accordingly. :) Good luck! |
