why is it that i get all my best ideas 2 hours before deadline? why?!?

had this idea yesterday, but it was easier (so i thought) than all the good ideas i have now. oh well...

by the way, did you know woody doesn't follow the exact proportions defined by Vitruvius? how rude.

----

thanks for all the comments. this was, of course, done in one long exposure w/ the lights out and two manual flashes. it got kind of frustrating and this was the last shot before i gave up. the pole was left in because i could never have cloned it out and made it look right in the time i had left before deadline.

just glad the team didn't need my score! go team underexposed!! :)

Yeah those ideas tend to come late. I also had this idea but was too close to turnover to shoot it. You achieved good results here.

Same reason I do bro...

See my Pirate Ducky Outtake, all I needed was 5 more minutes. *sighs/crighs*

Very cool idea by the way...

I get the idea, but I think would be better if the edge of the background wasn't so obvious. Also, Woody's not standing straight.

Well executed to make woody look like he's drawn on the page. 9

Either Leonardo got it wrong, or these woodies don't make perfect models of the human form. (I'll take the latter). Nice idea...

Nice image, not sure how you got this in one frame, less you shot in blackness with light flash, than adjusted and flashed light again. Its pretty fun overall.

Da Vinci would be proud. This is cool.!!! The background texture hurts it a bit, but then again, it resembles parchment. Maybe done in a slight sepia would've suited it more, but great idea. I'd have had him perfectly upright - is he leaning to the right, or is it me? ;~D

Great idea and pretty good execution. Remember, it's advanced editing! Cloning out the metal rod would be better.

Nice! There is a similar one in the challenge. I don't know how you got the pencil markings in front of the figure (onion skin maybe, or multiple exposures?) but it's cool.
