You did it. You made me feel sorry for Woody. I can identify with the poor guy. Great setting and dof. Love that only the image in the mirror is in focus.

And finally the last argument for the continued existence of humanity was brought up before the Robot Council: emotion. If humans were to die out, then emotion would die with it. "Nonsense," said the District Attornoid, and presented as evidence this photograph, irrefutable proof that emotion exists in a world of pure symbols, pure iconography. There is nothing so emotional as the woodie who lusts for emotion within himself. Unable to fashion any retort, the humans' Defenderbot rests his case. 10

I love this. Great interest, like the 'slight' softness - I believe this was all intentional. The border mmmmmm think it also works as it feels like you are looking in on a situtation.

Nice use of lighting and depth of field to add emotional impact. The dirty wood background adds nice texture and feeling. Nice job.

Wonderful photo here, it gives off more emotion than any other entry i've seen. Great work on the toning and lighting of the scene as well.

I am indiffernt about this image. There are artistic elements I really like. the dof, the reflection. And there are elements I don't like, meaning... the woodies back is out of focus and it doesn't make since. Im really struggling here.

Wow - excellent idea, very well executed. Love the dreary, gritty, sad feel - focus is just right where it should be. Great lighting. Back to bump - you're one of my top two - good luck!

Took a second to figure out the reflection in the "mirror". Very clever. Nice setup also. Hopefully others will figure out that the focus is meant to be on the mirror and not so much on Woody. Nice use of tones also BTW. Good luck in the challenge.

I like this, it's moody and has feeling. I wonder would it be better with more DOF so Woody is in focus?
