 Taken at the VA State Fair in Richmond. It was before the park's rides "opened", so the carousel was empty.

I edited it this was because merry-go-rounds always make me think of childhood magic and dreams.

PP included NI, crop, levels/curves, Mr. Contrast filter, sepia filter, layers of texture images, transparency brush, dodge/burn brush, save for Web.

Did ya ever go to "Buckroe Beach" in hampton, va? I grew up next to the amusement park, so this great shot brings back some good memories!

In the times I've visited your portfolio, I'm not sure how I missed this. This has a dreamlike and mystical feel to it - and somehow to me symbolizes a loss of innocence. Maybe because of the title but mostly because of the post processing.

this is kinda creepy in a way. i can feel the silence of the scene. but it's really, really good. it looks composite/layered to me. so much to look at.

What a unique take on a carousel. I am a huge fan of them and this has to be one of the best editing jobs I have seen. Very old-time nostalgic feel. Adding to my favs.
