 Taken with my modified Canon G2 (replaced IR cut-off filter with clear glass), and an R72 IR filter in front of the lens (on lensmate adapter). Levels adjusted to set black and white points, then added S-shape to curves. Some unsharp at large radius, then small radius.

This is one of the most beautiful infrared photos I've ever seen. I am so happy it won a ribbon! Mega-Congratulations. You certainly are off to an AMAZING start at dpc aren't you!

Congrats, It was my first choice and while the blue is a great shot too, I think the awards got flip-flopped as this was the best of the bunch, but that's just my opinion.

a wonderful image...and done with a Canon G2 as well...that's amazing! I used to have one of those...goes to show what can be achieved with a simple point and shoot camera

Ahhh infrared. LOL. Before I read the title I was staring at the photo for the longest time wondering about how you could photoshop those colors in basic.

Beautiful shot. Love the composition. Makes me think of being in Narnia. :)
