 I used a black background and a slow shutter speed, with rear curtain sync. When the shutter tripped, I threw the airplane and the flash at the end of the exposure gave a sharp image. The streak was caused by a small light illuminating the airplane as it flew. Post processing was Levels, slight hue adjustment to change the streak from orangish it yellowish, resize and submit!

The tail shows motion very effectively and the black background adds impact. I wish the plane was just a bit more interesting; even a simple crayon drawn design.

Good idea and well composed. I especially like the effect of the "vapor trail" :-) Simple but effective.

Good sense of motion shown by the motion trail. The lighting on the paper airplane really makes it pop out of the picture. The black background also helps. Good trick. Did you paint the motion in the background and place the plane? Looks good to me.
