Beautiful!

Ooops. I fall under option 'B'. Didn't quite think about the fight or FLIGHT version of the word. Wish I could go back and bumb my score up a few points. Sorry but it went over my head (not because the shot was too high, but rather my head was too low). Then again, I did give you some merit for a very nice photo.

Ouch. This deserved a much higher rank. People missed the connection to the topic because of a) language barriers or b) they didn't THINK ABOUT IT.

(oh big surprise).

Excellent shot.

A little faster shutter speed to stop the motion/sharpen the image would look better. Good composition.

I had forgotten about the sense of flight meaning running away that you have captured so well here. The bright sun washes out the one horse's head and puts noise on both horses, but I like the overall feeling of this image. The backlit dust contrasts nicely with the mostly silhouetted horses and adds to the feeling of motion.

Interesting use of flare to enhance the photo and give a dreamlike effect, but unless one of these horses is Pegasus, I'm not sure where the flight comes from. As with any shot where flare is used, it takes care to avoid losing part of the subject, as with the one horse whose head is almost lost.

Very pretty picture, this is an alternate definition of Flight, IMO not really the definition the site was asking for, but I did think that motion was a big part of that spirit of definition. I think the sun is just a bit strong, darker would have lessened it's impact on the photo and made the horses more silhouetted. If you had caught either horse with all four off the ground, you could have made a very good case for hitting the challenge full on. 7 Rob the Swash

Doesn't fit the topic. Maybe if the horse was jumping over a "gate" at a horse jumping contest, but not when they're just running.

Horses in flight right? I guess that is also in flight. A little unsharp overall. The sunset is very explosive.

Pretty, good colour, but I wish it was sharper, and with a faster shutter speed. In addition, the quality doesn't look that great, but it could just be the sun being so bright.

I have to admit, when I first looked at this I found the sun glare to be distracting and harsh and voted it lower. I still do think it is a bit much, but after looking the photo over more I think it does give an interesting affect and have adjusted my vote accordingly. I do like the reddish hue the glare gives, has a warm energy to it which would be expected from horses in 'flight'.

Your idea is awesome. Looks like you have a cheap camera or had to zoom in and then crop quite a bit. Good luck!

Flight? I don't get it, sorry. 3

This is a nice capture. I like the red tones and the halo affect behind the head of the rear horse. I wish the photo were a little larger so I could better see some of the detail since it appears to be a little blurry and I think in this particular instance, a crisper focus would enhance the shot more than a soft focus.
