 This was actually my preferred choice for Purple II challenge but figured my actual entry would have more mass appeal. Was I wrong?

i agree with pekesty, but like him my tastes dont appear to reflect the masses and are a bit quirky !!!!!
i really like this image .. i love the intense deep purple colour and i love your composition ...:)

I can't speak for the masses, but I definitely find this one far more appealing both technically and artistically than your entry. But, like you, my tastes are a bit quirky. :)
