Very pretty color here. It definately does meet the challenge. The problem I see with it is just to much negative space. You needed to crop in closer on the plane and also use the rule of thirds it will help greatly. Try to put your subject in the outter 1/3 instead of dead center. It will increase interest.

Nice colors, pretty sky. I see your airplane clearly enough and get the sense of flight, but interest level (wow factor) is low. Nice silhouette, leaving little detail of the subject. 6 Rob the Swash

Good one! The cloud formations are awesome and the blue of the sky is very deep and crisp. I personally wouldn't have centered the plane though.

Great sky, great blue. The shot is just a bit boring. I'm impressed with your view here, and think this is right on for the challenge.

I wonder why you chose to place the plane in the centre of the frame? This is usually not a good place to put your subject, and I really don't think it works here. If it was on the right, it would make sense as the negative space would exist compositionally for it to fly into. The clouds don't seem to work as a compositional device either, and look accidental here. For a stronger shot, an additional element is needed, such as an interesting cloud formation, sunset, or foreground element. 5

the color of the sky comes through great - the plane is uninteresting. i think centering it almost perfectly weakened to photo a bit.
