I know this is technically done bad: the shadows, the reflecting surface,... Unfortunately I don't have a light tent or something similar. But I loved the idea and wanted to try this out.

I don't know if I chose the right title. The alternative was "My first Apple computer".

Wow, 5th place!! Unbelievable, this is fantastic! :) Thanks for your great comments on my entry.

There must exist lots of "Apple" fans out there. I'd better used the alternative name (as written above) for this entry or something similar.

Congrats to your 5th, Hannes, well deserved (though you should instantly buy a light-tent or studio umbrella - you can PM me for details). Notice how your placing is rising with almost every challenge, next entry should ribbon...

Very original. Great Pic. I love the reference

Confused about seeing the background texture on the right side but not on the left. Also the brownish tint on the right side and in the top left corner.
Not sure if they are supposed to be part of the pic. Just curious.

Overall great job!

I like the extra effort here. The idea is sorta post modern since it seems there is no real obvious reason for the "system" unless this is just symbolic of life in general. Great image.

Great idea! I think the voters will go for it...the apples look a little funny to me - not red or green but ? Good luck to ya!

Nice original twist on the theme! I might have liked more color variance, though the monotone may have been intentional.

How does this show electricity affecting society or our environment in a negative or positive way?
09/20/2006 04:50:11 AM
brilliant idea, but color is too pale, lighting is too harsh, vignetting distracts. Had preferred a highly saturated color version and cropped a bit tighter. 7

wow! I'm not sure to get the concept but it's great anyway! Only negative thing is that the pic is too desaturated according to me. 9
