I wanted to stay same period so tried JPunzel but the hair didn't cooperate; you are left with The Polish Kid.
(For those wondering how it fits: "Armed Period Piece".)

Since I was asked here's the original:

I was born on the range, was punchin doggies before I could walk.

Then I took to book learnin, learned me my A-B-C's. Found a job doin differential calculus for the railroad, but I pine for the range.

ooh, dem deres a man's man for ya. What does that mean anyways? If you put a modern spin on it, that could mean something utterly un-manly. I digress.

FRICKIN Awesome doood!!! Is that better? Or maybe:

I like the tones you've creatied here, but there's too much grain. Have you heard of neat image?? Hmmmmm? And you have some sort of processing artifacts around the edges of the picture that are really distracting. Your should fix those.

fav.

Totally and utterly fantastic! Aging photos takes a lot of skill, IMO and this is dang fine work! Would love to see the original.

Well howdy, pardner.... Half the fun of these is trying to figure out if there's a duck.... :-) Nice processing work, as always. I think I need to take a few classes...
