Same foot bridge as

This foot bridge in Poway, is a sort of landmark. It had to be moved gently when the storm drains were being done in the gulley under it, then put back in place.
16 years ago, when I moved to Poway, I walked over it, as I have many times since.

A tad disappointed in the placing, but wanted it to
have a permanent home as it's something meaningful to me.
It has even been painted by a famous artist.

I quickly added this to my favorites as there is a similar foot bridge near me where I walk my dog in Manchester, CT. I've tried to take photos of this bridge and thought of it when I saw the theme. This one is a perfect example of what I see but can't seem to get it on my camera. Very nice tones and texture. I like the shadow play. Execellent job and severely under rated.

I'm rarely surprised by scores, but I am by this one. Easily a 6 or 7 in my book.

Excellent composition and tonality, Brad. I guess many people rated it down assuming that there must be a subject where the lines lead to, which I think is wrong. In this instance, the leading and inviting lines of the bridge ARE the subject. Great shot!

Good lines throughout the image, great repetition. I would have adjusted the levels, but otherwise great.

Border is a bit wide for me, but I like the B&W.

Definitely fits the challenge. I like your choice of tone; It give the scene a very nostalgic feel. The lines, curves, lights, and shadows work together for a very peaceful and interesting picture. This is my favorite
