Took this mid-day at Jenny Lake in the Grand Teton Nat'l Park. It's my first submission, so be gentle! Although I liked taking the photo, I sure wish'd I was the guy fishing.

Post-production involved crop, levels (minor), sat (very minor) & resize. Used a polarizing filter during the shot. There's a slight haze from local forest fires, not sure how to edit that out; suggestions welcome.

This is a gorgeous vista and as a flyfisherman, I can appreciate the location. I agree with the previous commenters regarding the image being washed out. If you continue to do shots like this, you'll have to invest in a circular polarizer. Sorry....but it means more money but it will cut down the glare and pop the colors. You may not have noticed but the horizon is slightly slanted. Have a look at the waterline on the far shore. It may appear that way because it is or maybe an illusion of the light from the left side to the right side of the image. I have been nailed on this before and you should be very aware of the impact it has on the viewer. Hope that helps.

thanks all! i'm thrilled with my placement and appreciate the votes. to answer the questions about the haze, there were 2-3 forest fires burning nearby. the polarizing lens actually helped tone it down some, but i'd love suggestions on how to reduce it further.

Lovely scenery, it looks a little hazy to me though.
