You got so many great comments on this shot already, that I'm not really sure if anything I would have to say would really help.
I do really like this shot for a few reasons. First, your focus and clarity are really great, which increases the wonderful detail we see in both the leaf and the water.
The color is great. Nice bright leaf against a fairly colorless background really helps for the leaf to stand out and grab us.
The angle and framing/cropping are ok. I like that this is a vertical crop and not horizontal. I think that really makes the lines 'flow' better. No pun intended. lol.
I'm not usually a fan of slow shutter speed water, but this is so very mild that it really does look good. It's when it looks like milk that it kind of disturbs me.
Anyway, you have done a wonderful job with this shot, and I think it deserves the high score.

| Now this is fantastic. The water looks like a creased up sheet! Focus is right on and the exposure is just right. I don't know whether it would have helped seeing a little more to the right of this, but you wouldn't want to sacrifice what we're seeing on the left, so I don't know! |

| Youve captured the contrasting textures of leaf and water very well. That would make an interesting image itself, but the brilliant color of the leaf adds that extra impact to make this a great photo. |

| I LOVE this shot, the autumnal colours of the leaf look great against the desaturated water. The border works well here, and complements the photo nicely. I personally wish that the leaf was composed diagonally across the frame... maybe from top left to bottom right. There's something about the top-down composition that bothers me. 8 |

| Very vivid colors in the leaf keep your eyes on it. The reflections of shadows and light in the water makes the water seem to flow off the image. Very crisp and sharp picture. Wow. Framing is awesome. |
