If you took this in your car, congradulations! I've done this myself and it is difficult to do.

A good enought photo, a slight stretch for the challenge. 7 Swash

OHHH! Colorado!
Guess there's a traffic jam no matter where you live - even in the wide open spaces!
Stretching the challenge a bit, but I accept.

Other than the title, I don't think this meets the challenge. For example, if it was titled "highway", it wouldn't float. I ignore titles when scoring a photo.

Nice idea. If it wasn't for the size restriction, I'd say crop the sky.

Nice sky, and the lines of traffic fit your title. However, the land looks so peaceful, it looks like a traffic jam in the countryside, rather than life in the fast lane. karmat

Interesting perception

There's no feeling of speed on our side of the road. Perhaps there shouldn't be but this is screaming to be a contrast shot in my opinion. Us moving fast - them moving slow. Technically - framing is too high - focus is poor.

A scene I am all too familiar with. Focus is a bit soft, lighting is good.

No relevance to the challenge that I can see, except metaphoric.

the message is good but I think the composition is a little bottom heavy

OH YEAH.... traffic is definitely what I think of as part of the whole "Corporate" thing, but the landscape throws me off! I live near DC, so the whole frame of reference is different although that definitely makes it interesting to me. I honestly think I would have cropped out blue car on the right, it distracts me. Also looks just a bit fuzzy to me. lhall

The picture tells the story and the title only underscores it in an ironic fashion. This picture is actually horribly depressing but only because it is so true! If you had cropped it out right above the mountains instead of showing all that sky, the picture would have been much more effective because then it becomes almost claustrophobic!! Don't know exactly why but that empty space on the right lane somehow bothers me; perhaps because it defies the bumper-to-bumper idea. This is not the greatest technical picture because it is an opportunity shot but I find it effective for the challenge.
