This is my first submission after getting my D70 back from repair!! I hope it does well.

This bug was in our kitchen. My roommate put it on his nose and posed for the picture. Thanks Miah for letting a bug crawl around on your face. I think the bug is a Cicada??? Maybe someone will know.

I was shooting macro shots with my flash on an extender cord . That is the reason for the single light source from the side. I wish I could have lit the scene better, but time was limited!

Oh, I almost forgot... we named the bug Gregory. :)

Good pic...worth a 7 but I'll give it a 9 for putting that bug on your face!

HAHA made me laugh, these little buggers are all over our house yard right now, never though of bringing one in. Funny capture, even like the lighting, like it's a "suprise" bug on your nose, not staged LOL.

Got to find a way to soften light, reflctors ,tissue over flash, balance with available light, manual mode minus a stop or so,maybe even experiment with rear curtain flash.

lighting seems a bit harsh on the skin but great on the bug. interestign shot. 7

Wow, four bug eyes in one shot. Congratulations on that. Quite a comical entry that should fair fairly well. Good luck this week, both of you.
