Van, this is so beautiful - so ethereal and unreal looking. I'd love to be able to take lightning pictures like this. No matter what I try mine always suck. I love the layered dark look in the sky above and the stop light (or train stop light) just adds that wonderful extra touch that ads to that lonely, stark feeling. It's gorgeous!!!

| Wow, tough capture. I keep wanting to level the horizon but then would want to level the clouds LOL can't win either way but really like it anyways LOL. |

| Very cool shot. First off, lightning ain't easy at all to catch! Very interesting colors, and I really like the 'minimilism' type composition. Stands out among typical lightning shots. Nice job. |

| Great picture. I love it but I think that it would have been much better without the red lights. Maybe you should have cropped it just below the lighting bolts, with all the negative space over it, it would have been visually stunning. This is just my opinion and I think that your picture will still be doing very good in this challenge. Good luck. |

Some Thoughts:
-SUPER COOL!!
-I think I would've cloned out the red light on the right, it is a bit distracting and doesn't really fit with the color scheme
-Horizon is tilted a bit
-Love the crop with the abundant sky
-Love the softness

| My only complaint is that the horizon is not quite straightm, but other than that, this image is feally fantastic. Gorgeous blues, nice contrasting yellows. Well done. |
