 My freezer leaks. Every week or so I take a pitcher off the top shelf of the fridge and it's full of a round block of ice that's dripped from above. As the water freezes slowly, air bubbles escape from it, leaving tiny channels in the otherwise crystal-clear ice. I set the ice in a cobalt blue glass baking dish to take close-up pictures of it. Lighting it properly was hard; I wish I had a diffused light source I could have used from behind. But I like the shots I got.

Wonderful colors and pattern here, but I"m not sure how exactly it relates to the challenge. Is this some kind of microscopic underworld?

not sure what wellspring is...but its a cool shot. looks like frozen water maybe? whatever I'd love to know what it is.
