Wow! The crisp silhouettes of the birds, the backlighting through their wings and the soft clouds in the background come together perfectly. Wow...adding to favs!

I don't often have time to vote on the challenges but I'm glad I clicked on your profile to see what you'd been up to. This is a beautiful shot. The transluscent quality of the birds' wings sets this apart from the average wildlife image.

| Beautiful shot.. If not the ribbon then at least the top ten worthy pic. I have just a slight issue with the processing of the wing of the bird at the bottom right. Oh my, I re-read the sentence.. I'm getting a bit creepy with the things I notice. I have a feeling that imperfection got the votes a bit down. But oh well..still a great shot. |

I believe this really deserved a ribbon and I cannot see how it finished where it did...grrrrr!!!!
I am adding it to my favourites as it is sheer poetry...worthy of a Wildlife Photo of the Year... grrrrr again for added effect! C'mon guys, 24th??? |

| I would have been tempted to ADD grain to this for an artistic look. Probably wouldn't have scored well however. ;^) As is, there is a little noise in the sky although it looks like you've applied some noise reduction to it already. The birds are WAY cool. Love the angle. You've stopped the motion pretty well. Would be a stronger image if the birds were a little sharper...the image overall seems soft. JMO of course. ;^) Good luck in the challenge. |

| OK...this is amazing...looks liike the wildlife photo of the year 2005 (don't know if you have seen it). It has to be a 10 from me...love the title and love the comp...love the b and w look and the motion of the wings is stopped...cannot fault this shot |
