A photo of the 24 foot long, 8,000 pound bronze sculpture of Joe Louis' outstretched arm and fist. It is suspended from a 24-foot pyramid of four beams and is located in downtown Detroit at the intersection of Woodward and Jefferson Avenues.

Joe Louis was the world's heavyweight boxing champion from 1937 to 1950.

An interesting fact: if the building in the background looks familar it is because it was designed by the same architect who designed the World Trade Center.
