Classic Zen imagery, imo. Well spotted and taken. I wonder if this would benefit from a conversion to B&W...? Nonetheless, 10. |

I love the stillness of this shot. Many others were busy and did not give me that sense of quit and peace. This one does. 9 |

Very simplistic. Certainly presents a serene image. The composition would benefit from moving the plants down and more to the right and cropping out about half of them. Overall this needs more contrast. Meets the challenge, but the shot itself could use some work. 5. |

I think this has some great zen qualities. I love the way the grass and their reflections almost form words. I wonder if Kikiko means anything? I think this image has a great bit of potential but the flat color and low lighting hurts it a bit. I think more light and richer colors would really give this image even more oomph. I gave the image a 6 despite the issues as I really like the capture and its potential. |
