Good photo. Only I think the lighting could be different, such as to put more emphasis on the strawberries instead of the ice behind it - just personal opinion. I like the composition. Definately creates the feeling of wanting a nice cool strawberry!! 9

| Very cold and fresh. I like it. Especially in the summer. Might have used brighter strawberries or played with lighting to brighten them. The one on the right is kinda mashed. |

Nicely done, but I can't help feeling that the lighting could have been a bit warmer, to pick up the colour of the strawberries a bit more. Gets an 8.

For those that are just learning, like me.
Composition: Scoring in this area is based on basic composition of a picture and includes the rule of thirds, balance, cropping, and curved and diagonal lines. Subject matter that does not lend itself to the picture or otherwise unwanted is also considered here.
Originality: Scoring in this area is based on pictures or concepts that I have seen, as well as how much effort you have invested in the picture. Usually a little something that sets it aside from a snapshot. Does it make me want to come back for another look? You know things like that.
Technical Aspects: Focus, exposure, lighting, and other special effects (done by the camera), and post processing are all considered in this category.
Meets Challenge: This is based on my interpretation of if you, have/have not, met the challenge. This is fairly simple but quite important for this site.
There are many sites that can give you assistance in achieving better skills in photography, but I think the best way to learn is to take pictures and show them to other people. Believe me when it is a good one you will know it.

| excellent composition :) I am glad you chose to use three strawberries rather than two or four... odd number always seem to work best, or in most cases like this. The only critique I have for you is that I would have liked to seen the red level punched up a little somehow... Maybe it could have been done with light, or maybe with photoshop... This is a very nice thought and well planned photo... great work... = 9 - jmsetzler |

| Nice shot. It is a little dark, try shooting strawberries in natural light around 4 to 5 o'clock, I had good results. |

| Delightful photo. Nice exposure on the ice. The berries are a bit dark though I'm not sure what one could do about that short of finding some with a lighter shade. Good job. |
