A really nice shot overall but with the focus as such, I think it takes away from the abstract feel of it. Would've been more abstract in shape without the spoon as such, maybe if there where spoons coming out/in of the four corners. Perhaps then the symmetry would've helped this become more akin to the challenge? great shot though.

That is excellent! Smelling it now. I think it would've been even beter with a warmer background of combination of light/dark browns to give off the coffee feel as well. But would be tough to not blend with the beans doing that. 8

Nice shot. I love the colors and depth. I dont know if I like the subject matter all that much. Yeah, its abstract, but not in an interesting way. Great photo, though.
