beautiful, and it really does look like an abstract watercolor painting, the title just tops it off, well done, I really like this

I like the image as a whole - just the upper left portion by the stem bothers me as it has an odd blur to it. Really nice bokeh

Very nice image... very clear, great DOF and Bokeh. This one should do well in the challenge. Good luck.

Abstract as I perceive abstract? Very much so.
Do I like it? Yes. Haven't a clue what it is, and that doesn't bother me at all.
Technicals? Very nice! Excellent composition, nice contrasts of clear, sharp focus on the stem and softness on the body of whatever it is. Bokeh adds nicely, and I love the touch of blue at the bottom.

In my opinion, the red pepper is very well done but the yellow pepper and blue background that shows a bit at the bottom ruins what was otherwise a great shot

The colors are great on this shot. The added bokeh does well for this image. A bit playful I might add with the sexual innuendo. There's a hotspot at the base of the stalk but nothing to frown upon. There's only one man I know that has a fascination for peppers - habanero ones at that. Are you sure there is no landscape behind this image? A marsh or an ebb perhaps? Great shot!
