 My objective is to show flowers in a dramatic way, vivid colours, interesting compostitions and if I'm lucky showing human qualities. I took this photo with the foxglove in a vase in the hallway with the bathroom door as a background. It just was a fluke that there was a light reflection from the painted door. I used a tripod(why do I ever try to work without one?)on the Macro setting of my camera. Just a regular hallway light.

These colors looks a little oversaturated. It all looks a bit too processed for my taste. Sorry.

Really nice all around ... just seems that it was resized or reduced to make it pixelated, other than that, stunning.

Digitalis is an outstandingly lovely flower. This is a great soeciment too. But the background really detracts from the botanical beauty on display. A simpler composition would have received my highest vote.

I think this is a little over processed or your camera doesn't handle all the whiggy colors well - mine does something similar with hot pink which is why I rarely photograph it in color. DOF is good. Background a little strange.
