Macro shot into the interior of a glass doorknob. At this angle, part of the pattern was refracted back in a modified mirror-image, which reminded me of an object reflected in water.

This would also have benefitted from a little spot-editing (not allowed in this challenge).

Greetings from the CC, well this gets points I guess for experimental and creative. And knowing that you have been around here a long time, I suspect you knew this would not score high on dpc. I actually think this image is interesting, I think it may have worked much better tho as a vertical crop, partly cuz it is such a busy image it would of helped to focus the eye, in at least my opinion on the more interesting 'middle' part.
I suspect not possible but had you been able to get this a bit sharper, it would of looked IMHO like a jewel.
I also would like to see the 'white version'.

Hope that helps1
Lynn

I like the purple hue in your entry, but there doesn't seem to be a sharp point somewhere. Looks like you've moved the camera while shooting, probably with a long shutterspeed?

Hmmm, a bit too abstract for the DPC masses. Curious what I'm seeing here :P

I feel an uncomfortable sense of motion.

I can see what you were going for (clever title, too) but it's not clearly enough in focus for my taste.

Nice abstract. The blur intentional?

Shame it seems so out of focus. Nice colour.
