Thank you everyone for the positive comments. I know some of you have mentioned the sky is blown out. I would have loved to capture the sky too, but my focus for this challenge was the glass. I could have done some photoshop trickery but I always try to keep that to a minimum. My goal isn't to win the challenge, but to do the best I can TTL. Not that there's anything wrong with photoshop, I just enjoy "Basic Editing" challenges. Thanks again everyone!

Impressive - zero barrell distortion.

Great perspective. Would have liked the sky to pop out a little better. Still very nice job.

Nicely done.

I particularly like the broken curve of the reflection of the right-hand building. It's rather incongruous given that the buildings are all (presumably) built straight. Something for the eye to ponder...

I wonder whether you could have framed it so that the high-point of the buildings wasn't dead-centre of the composition. But then you might have lost the framing effect of the lowermost sills at the bottom and right edge. Could you have cropped it to get a similar framing effect on the left, too?

It's a shame that the sky is bleached out. Maybe the shot would've worked better at a different time of day?

For all that, it's still a fine shot.

Love the perspective and the use of leading lines to project me through this shot.

A very pleasing shot - good choice for this challenge, too. I like the slight curves in the center reflection. Well seen.

This almost has a vertigo effect. Very nice image, now if you will excuse me, I need to go throw up.

nice abstract image and beautiful leading lines. I like the fact you framed the "stairway" in the whole length.

I like these types of shots. The fact that it is almost symmetric but not quite makes it more interesting.
06/28/2006 12:31:51 PM
Composition/angle make it appear abstract. Very cool.
06/28/2006 12:08:18 PM
you have well captured the reflective quality of glass good composition

The sky is completely blown out. The image would work better with a blue sky/ white clouds. Mind you, this would probably be difficult to do without combining two images, one exposed for the sky, the other exposed for the buildings. Nice try anyway.
