conveys the frantic motion of swimming very well. 8

This is the sort of shot where I would like to see something in the shot in focus, just so that the motion blur looks less accidental. Perhaps the lane dividers.

Neat. The water blur is just right! You had the shutter speed set exaclty right for this one! ! ! 9

No focus, too much blur for me, sorry

Excellent capture. The water movement really adds to the tension of the activity.

Great catch. The blur of both the swimmer and water are just right to me. Nice colors.

I think I would have rated this one higher if the subject was focused, and the water was moving, or if the water was more focused that the subject was moving. 6

Like the movement and positioning of subject in the shot. Some gentle work on levels would make it a bit more snappy

Great idea, and it matches your title well. I'm giving it an 8. If the boy's face had been clearer, it would've been a 9 or 10. I'm not saying it's possible to take this shot with his face clearer, but I can dream, can't I? :)

IMO the rails between should not be so blurred.

I really like this. It's a breath of fresh air (no pun intended) from the bicycles and fans. I know this was probably a tough shot to pull off and you didnt have control of much, but I would have loved to see this with the swimmers arms out front instead of out back.
