Went down to London for the @media2006 conference, met up with a few friends I haven't seen for a year or so then heading out for a midnight stroll. Wasn't expecting much as I'd had far too much to drink! I like this image though, like the brown sky, wasn't sure whether to adjust the white balance to get it more realistic but decided not to.

Converted from RAW, cropped, curves, USM, resize then final USM.

This is great shot of the eye; admired it during viewing (didn't know it was yours), nice one Keith, and great placing too. You're on a roll!

Co-incidence too as I popped some of my london eye pics in my portfolio just yesterday! :)

-I think you will be getting the yellow as unfortunately the other chap edited a dust spot..... don't suppose you did this as well :-) :-) ?
Great photo, congrats on your top ten finish. I stuck by the rules, that would have been nice for you to move on up if I had. :-)

They don't come much better than this...This is a flawless execution of time exposure. Great lighting, fantastic detail, composure, DOF ... all aspects were executed to perfection. A winner by any standards.

been there but never got to shoot the eye at night. nice composition. the triangles complement the wheel.

Excellent exposure. A little too busy for me. I would have tried a vertical shot cut off just to the right of the wheel.

it's a shame hungerford bridge (or whatever it's called now) was in the way, as it doesn't really compliment the overall shot, and the stuff under the bridge is kind of messy and distracting... i think location is an important factor here. or alternatively, given that the eye and the sky are the most wonderful bits, cropping in such a way that only the top half of the wheel is in the shot making it more of an abstract piece - could even rotate it 90° to make it look a bit more abstracty. just a bit too cluttered for my liking, sorry. 6.

This is fantastic. Probably in my top 10, the problem for you and a possible ribbon pick, is you have very strong contenders in this challenge. GL.

this image may have been better if you had cropped the bottom at the base of the bridge as the picture is very busy beneath it
