 its the tip of a green fern shot in front of wet foliage. i played with curves, enhanced blue in color balance. saturated and changed hue to red. took me some time to choose red over yellow, orange and green. all came out beautifully too.

i've learned what bokeh in this challenge by reading the forums. i had outakes that produced really hexagonal/circular reflections from the background, but IMO this type of bokeh came out more pleasing.

my biggest challenge in shooting macros is the wind. i learned to shoot handheld or with a tripod but its hard to keep the subject from moving due to the wind. You'll notice the "motion blur" at the back.

I can't believe this didn't score higher. One of the most pleasing to the eye images that I can really get my teeth into. It did finish 30th which is great considering the size of the field...so all is not so bad...but still...awesome image.

I love this image. I dont know if people will like your interpretation of Bokeh but I think this is great. I especially love the movment in the image and your wonderful use of colors. I think I would have liked it better withoutthe water droplet. Greta Job
